Mena is the gateway to one of our country's newest national scenic byways. The splendor of this breaktaking 54 miles meandering drive is absolutely amazing. Vistas are strategically positioned along  the drive to give specators panoramic views across the Ouachitas?

One of the most popular local attractions can be found 13 miles northwest of downtown. Queen Wilhelmina State Park, also known as "The Castle in the Sky" attracts thousands to its majestic peak each year.

With Over 5302 acres of rugged wooded slopes, outstanding geological features, cascading clear water and Class III, IV, and even Class V rapids, the Cossatot is a favorite with skilled canoeist, rafters and kayakers.

The Ouachita National Forest is the oldest National Forest in the southern United States. The Ouachita National Forest covers 1.8million acres and offers endless recreational opportunities.

The Ouachita National Recreational Trail is the longest trail in the Ouachitas. The trail spans 204 miles with elevations ranging 600 to 2,600 ft. as the trail passes through forested mountains, across sweeping valleys and near clear-running streams.

Take in nature up close with the popular All Terrian Vehicle (ATV) Trails at Wolf Pen Gap. This trail offers 41 miles of loop trials that feature high mountain vistas, a unique 2 foot tall oak tree and an abandoned mine shaft.

Panoramic beauty will surround you atop Rich Mountain as you board one of the area's top attractions. Take a ride on the miniature train at Mountain Glory Station and enjoy scenic views around Queen Wilhelmina State Park.

Reminiscent of 'days gone by,' you can almost hear the conductor shouting "All Aboard." Constructed during the passenger train ear, this depot is rich in history and showcases Mena's Historical Museum.

North Mena Street is quickly becoming a hub for fine arts in the Ouachitas. browse the unique art at the Mena Art Gallery and American Artisans; create your own art at Chameleon Arts; and catch a show at the Ouachita Little Theatre.... Mena has it all.

Christian Motorcyclist Association calls Mena Home. The National/International Support Center and Iron Mountain draws thousands of motorcyclists to the area form all around the world.

Board Camp Crystal Mine is a day use camp, with an actual native, untapped crystal mine and public dig site. The surface is literally scattered with sparkly quartz crystals of various size and shapes! Anyone can find crystals to take home with them!
